At the mention of her father, her smile shrank, a small bitter chuckle escaped her lips, “Yeah, maybe if he cared he would have, but he just pays for what he has to, and goes back to his office to work.” Although learning a different language does look good on college and job application, she could maybe take French or something next semester, “Maybe when the next semester rolls around I will take French? If I do, I could have an amazing tutor, if I need help.” She sent the boy laying on her bed a playful wink, she would love if he would help her if she took, but she would never force him to.
